Is it possible to treat SWINE FLU with Homeopathic medicines?
Homoeopathic medicins are basically treating any disease just by improving patient's immunity. The same logic we can apply while treating Swine Flu cases. So there is lot of scope for research if any person is not yet suffered from swine flu and want just preventive medicines, the he/she should start taking proper Homeopathic medicines according to his/her nature, temperatment, past histroy and recurrent illness history. This medication will keep person healthy to fight against swine virus.
In the past, in 1918, Homoeopathic medicines played important role in Spanish Flu pandamic, prevention in Europe with 99% success.
If we take proper consideraton of sympatomatology and preventive steps then we can surely fight with present pandamic situation
In Homeopathy, there are many medicines are available which can be given on the basis of patient's symptoms , like Arsenic Alb, Allium cepa, Gelsemium, Eupatoreum, Rhustox etc.
Still research is required to find what is the Genus epidemicus for 2009 pandamic Swine flu.

Do not use this drug- RIMONABANT
The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has banned the drug RIMONABANT - an active pharmaceutical ingredient used in several anti-obesity medicines - after studies showed that the drug may cause serious side-effects.
The drug has been associated with increased risk of depression and suicidal thoughts, and has been linked to five deaths and 720 adverse reactions in Europe over the last two years, says a recent FDA news release.
In India, though no serious side-effect of the drug has been reported, the Government suspended the drug after in was stopped in European nations. The Central Drug Standard Control Organisation of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare directed pharmaceutical companies to stop manufacturing the drug and recall the available products in the market, reports drugcontrol.org.
Rimonabant containing anti-obesity drug is patented by Sanofi Aventis, a multinational pharma major, as RIMANOBANT.
Some other common brands of this drug are SLIMONA, ACOMPLIA, MONASLIM, RIMOSLIM, RIOBANT, etc
